Weekend Breakfast Recipes: Two Nutritious Toasts To Try At Home

Hope you are staying safe at home. Weekend is here, and it calls for whipping up some magic in the kitchen.

If looking to try something new in kitchen, do try these two quick to make, delicious and filled with nutrition breakfast toasts at home. Breakfast is an important meal, so make sure you have it in the best way possible.

Basil Pesto Toast With Boiled Egg

Pesto Sauce Ingredients

2 chopped green chillies
1 tbsp walnuts
1 tbsp pizza seasoning
1⁄2 cup coriander leaves
1 tsp vinegar
8 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup basil leaves

1 tsp sugar


Throw all ingredients in a blending jar and make a fine paste.

Now, toast a Rye Bread or any bread, put a layer of pesto sauce. Top it with sliced boiled egg, and a few crushed walnuts.

Here’s how to boil a perfect egg:

Bruschetta Toast 

Prepare this Italian delicacy at your home in true Neapolitan style.


Finely chopped tomatoes
Chopped basil leaves
Dried oregano
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balsamic vinegar
Bread – Sourdough/Rye/Baguette/Any Other


In a bowl, add three small-sized finally chopped tomatoes

Then added around 20-22 chopped basil leaves

Season them with two or more tbsp of oregano, one and half tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, one tsp of balsamic vinegar and salt to taste.

Give everything a good toss and keep in the fridge for 5-10 minister.

Meanwhile put a heavy grilling skillet on the gas

Take a pod of garlic and rub it on both sides of bread

Brush the bread with olive oil on both sides.

Toast the bread and put the tomato mixture on top of it!
